What to do when moving into a new apartment

1 Register with the building's management office

Be sure to register as a new tenant so you receive building updates, notices for entry and other important information.

2 Complete Mail Waiver

If you will be expecting any packages during your residency, concierge/security will need a mail waiver form, allowing them to receive mail on your behalf.

Food couriers will need your buzzer code for your deliveries.

4 determine the utilities provider(s)

This may include electricity, water, gas/heat. Every building uses a different provider, so be sure to ask.

5 Identify Internet Provider

Some buildings are restricted to certain telecom companies. Others have discounts with some providers. Ask the management office so you’re making the best decision.
